Description

A small glass picture with one of these wind blown trees, hand painted with glass powder and added silver leaf on artisan glass and then fused in a kiln.

The art work was inspired by some of these typical Cornish trees that are withstanding constant coastal winds that shape them, still standing upright but reading out with their growth with the wind instead of going against it.

For me this is one of these pictures that represent the coming of winter, which feels like a long winter being locked down again, the darkness creeping in.

The glass is framed with a hand made oak frame.
